He also has the highest title in the Open era combining both singles and doubles with 155 titles. Although McEnroe has never won the French Open titles or the Australian Open, he has made up for it at Wimbledon and the US Open. His most famous match would undoubtedly be the 1980 Wimbledon final against Bjorn Borg, a match in which Borg ended with an 8-6 victory in the fifth set.
